Institutional Policy & Notification Requirements

  • As of November 21, 1996, an institution is no longer required to have a written institutional policy.
  • The benefit of having a policy is that we have guidelines to follow.
    • UNT has a written policy in the UNT POLICY MANUAL, Classification No. 18.1.9.
  • UNT notifies students of their rights under FERPA in the Schedule of Classes on the Web.
