UNT Priority Dates
Priority dates are June 1/October 1/April 1.
Selection Criteria
Based on established financial need to undergraduates only. Eligibility ends with first baccalaureate degree or a change to graduate status as determined by the Registrar's office.
Continued Eligibility
Students must maintain at least half-time enrollment in most cases, continue to meet Satisfactory Academic Progress Requirements and continue to demonstrate financial need.
Repayment
Based on university repayment policy (see Refunds and Repayments for more info).
Amount of Awards
Dependent on Expected Family Contribution (EFC). Estimated award is $400-$4310 per academic year. Actual Pell grant awards are based on the student's actual enrollment.
Payment
Money is applied to student account once each semester.
