Distance learning: A CONVENIENT WAY TO EARN YOUR DEGREE
More and more students each year are opting for distance learning courses and programs. In Fall 2007, more than 9,400 graduate and undergraduate students took such courses.
UNT has emerged as a leader in electronically delivered education. The university is the largest provider of online credit courses among Texas public universities.
Web-based master's degrees and graduate academic certificates are offered in a number of fields, including two MBAs. For the latest information on UNT's distance education options, go to www.untecampus.com.
UNT Dallas Campus: Another way to attend UNT
Many residents of the Dallas-Fort Worth region take classes at UNT in Denton, but another option is now available. A growing number of graduate programs are offered at the UNT Dallas Campus, located at the intersection of Camp Wisdom and Houston School roads just north of Interstate 20. With panoramic views of the downtown Dallas skyline, the $25 million, three-story building is visible for miles around. The 266-acre campus is the site of the future UNT Dallas, which will become a separate university in the UNT System – Dallas' first public university – by 2010.
Courses and programs at the Dallas Campus are of the same high quality as those offered at the Denton campus, and degrees granted are the same as those earned by students at UNT in Denton.
For more information, visit the UNT Dallas Campus website or call 972-780-3600.
FACTOID
A new emergency contact system, Eagle Alert, can quickly alert students, faculty and staff by e-mail, phone and text message if there is an emergency or campus closing.
