Advance with graduate academic certificates

Instructor teaching class

UNT offers a number of graduate academic certificate (GAC) programs for people who want to enhance job skills, pursue a different career path or simply explore new topics of interest.

GACs are brief programs of study that promote career enhancement and lifelong learning at the graduate level. The number of credit hours required depends on the area of study, with an average of 12 hours required. GACs are not substitutes for master's or doctoral degree programs, and they differ from teacher certification, professional certification or licensure, continuing education and similar programs.

UNT's GAC programs are taught by UNT graduate faculty, composed of graduate-level credit courses and documented on official transcripts.
