On November 19th, 2013 SkyDrive Pro and Office Web Apps were added to current student EagleConnect accounts. SkyDrive Pro offers 25 GB of cloud based storage and Office Web Apps provide a free browser based version of the Microsoft Office suite.On October 29th, 2013, EagleConnect email was upgraded to Microsoft Office 365 Wave 15. This summer UNT upgraded to Office 365 wave 14, the move to wave 15 added a number of features including an improved User Interface (UI), SkyDrive Pro, and Office Web Apps.
The UIT Helpdesk held a charitable Halloween bake sale on October 30th. $170.67 was raised with all proceeds donated to America's VetDogs, which provides service dogs to US Veterans. More information on the charity can be found here. We greatly appreciate all of those who stopped by!
Blackboard Learn now has a browser check which will help you verify if your computer and browser are compatible with the Blackboard Learn system. Please note that the Browser check may state that your browser is not supported. As long as you are using the latest update of your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or IE) your browser should be compatible with Blackboard Learn.

At this time Internet Explorer 10 has not been listed as compatible with my.unt.edu and Blackboard Learn. While IE10 may work fine, if you do experience any issues with UNT websites (especially MyUNT) please try using compatibility mode or an alternative browser such as Firefox or Google Chrome.
Recently exploits have been found concerning older versions of Java 1.7. The UIT Helpdesk recommends immediately upgrading to the latest version of Java.
