Blackboard Learn Transition

Over a year ago UNT began making a transition from Blackboard Vista to Blackboard Learn, a new version of the course management system we were using. For the Spring 2013 semester that transition has completed and all of the courses offered at UNT are now on Blackboard Learn.

How Will I Find My Courses?

Now that the transition is complete all of your online courses can be found on Blackboard Learn at learn.unt.edu.

What's New in Blackboard Learn?

We are confident that you will like some of the new features in Blackboard Learn. Among them are:

  • Access to your course via mobile device (Blackboard Mobile Learn)
  • A notifications dashboard that gives you an instant snapshot of important due dates and new content or communications.
  • Better integrations with major textbook publishers, such as McGraw-Hill, Cengage, and Pearson, making possible for you to complete all of your coursework within UNT's Blackboard Learn system.
  • Course wikis, Blackboard Collaborate, and Blackboard IM.

Just know that Blackboard Learn looks very different form Blackboard Vista, but enables you to interact with your course content, your instructor, and your classmates in new ways.
