SkyDrive FAQ Updates - Coming Soon
SkyDrive has undergone a number of changes in the last two months especially in regards to storage space, file transfer size, and desktop accessibility. Please check back soon for updates.
What is SkyDrive?
SkyDrive is the replacement for the UNT Student Storage system.
SkyDrive is a web-based file storage system with 7 gigabytes of storage space.
How do I access SkyDrive?
You can log in at
skydrive.live.com, and select Log-in.
What is my log-in name?
Your log-in name is your new EagleConnect ID, which is generally firstlast@my.unt.edu.

What is my password?
Your password is your EUID Password.
Follow the link above to find SkyDrive upload requirements on

What are the Browser requirements?
SkyDrive appears to have near full functionality all browsers including Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome & Safari. If a certain feature does not appear to be working for you try Internet Explorer.
How much storage space do I have?
SkyDrive gives you 7 gigabytes of storage!
What is the maximum file size allowed?
SkyDrive has a file size limit of 50mb.
Can other people see my files?
Using SkyDrive in conjunction with Windows Live, you can share your public folders with people in your network, and your contacts.
In contrast, you can also make your files private so that only you can see them.
Can I change the appearance of SkyDrive?
Yes, SkyDrive has several theme options. Under Options you can chose these themes, with some being dynamic changing with the weather, and time.
The Upload Option is grayed out
This is generally due to javascript being disabled. Go
