Copyright and Peer-to-Peer Use in the Dorms and Elsewhere at UNT
- Resnet and the dorms – Resnet does not allow use of Peer-to-Peer (P2P) file sharing programs such as Morpheus, Limewire, Kazaa, etc. These programs are blocked and will appear to have little to no Internet connection. Internet sessions which transfer unlicensed or unpurchased copyrighted materials may be automatically terminated. Sharing files directly over the network is not recommended, because of the possibility of computer viruses. Students who register and connect to Resnet must abide with these policies and UNT's Computer Use Policy.
