Subject:  Responsibility for Equal Employment Opportunity Compliance and Prohibition of Sexual Harassment Activities

This memorandum is to remind you of the ongoing commitment of UNT to equal opportunity in all aspects of employment and to the prohibition of acts of sexual harassment in all campus interactions. It is every faculty and staff member’s responsibility to ensure that our campus community is not subjected to sexual harassment and other forms of discrimination. Federal and State laws and University policy prescribes strict sanctions for discrimination and other unethical conduct.

Questions and concerns regarding equal opportunity issues may be directed to the Office of Equal Opportunity, the University Human Resources Office, or Student Employment/Career Services.

In addition, any instance of sexual harassment or discrimination which is observed by or reported to another faculty or staff member must also be reported to the Office of Equal Opportunity, Hurley Administration Building Room 210, campus phone 2737.
