Employee Relations

   What will Employee Relations do when you call?
 
  • We will visit with you on the phone to ask questions, get specifics, discuss options, offer coaching/advice.
  • We may want to meet with you and/or other involved parties in person.
  • We will help clarify what policies are applicable.
  • Advise you on what documentation is needed.
  • Help determine if disciplinary action is warranted.
  • Help determine if other actions may be warranted such as:
    -mandatory counseling
    -an assessment for drug/alcohol abuse
    -referral to another office, such as Equity and Diversity
    -referral to counseling services on campus or outside community resources
    -referral to mediation
    -activate CART (Crisis Assessment/Response Team) if needed
  • Maintain confidentiality to the best of our ability.
