Explanation of Variance/Comments: The University's first and second quarter FTE are typically the highest quarters for the fiscal year. The University has experienced a significant increase in student enrollment that required the University to increase its faculty and staff and exceed its FTE cap in the first and second quarter. Due to the increase in student enrollment, we anticipate that our FTE average for the four quarters will exceed our cap for this fiscal year.
