  How do I register for training classes?
  To register for a class, please choose one of the following:
 
   
  What do I do if I need to cancel my registration for a class?
  Please contact the Training area of Human Resources at (940)565-4246 as soon as possible. Space is limited for some classes and your reserved space can often be reassigned to someone on our waiting list.
   
  Do I have to use my vacation or sick leave hours to attend training?
  University policy allows employees to attend classes during work hours. Prior supervisory approval is expected for staff employees. Accrued Leave Time does not need to be used to attend training sessions (University Policy Manual, Vol. I, Number 1.3.17).
   
  How do I know when classes are being offered?
  Human Resources classes are listed in the Training & Development section of the Human Resources Newsletter each month. All benefits eligible employees should receive a copy of the newsletter each month. If you need a copy, please contact Human Resources at (940)565-2281. Classes are also advertised periodically on electronic mail or separate flyers or pamphlets and posted on UNT calendar of events.
   
  Who can attend training and development classes offered by Human Resources?
  All faculty, staff, and student employees are eligible (University Policy Manual, Vol. I, Number 1.3.18.1) to attend Human Resources training classes. Most classes are offered at no cost. Occasionally, programs are open to spouses and members of the community. Staff members must have the consent of their supervisor to attend programs.
