University Spirit Marks

Spirit marks are additional images associated with UNT and may be used in its publications.

These spirit markers were generated specifically for use on athletic uniforms and other equipment, and some are particularly appropriate for other uses such as casual clothing, coffee cups, water bottles, and plastic mugs and cups. These marks identify UNT at a glance. They can be used on informal and disposable items such as napkins, coasters, cups and T-shirts.

Basic guidelines when using all UNT spirit markers

  1. Reproduction must be in UNT green (Pantone 356*), white or black.
  2. Spirit markers should appear on university publications with the university wordmark.
  3. No other items may touch or be superimposed on the spirit markers unless screened back behind the spirit mark.
  4. Spirit markers may be screened back no lower than 10 percent in UNT green or black. Please note: The UNT System seal, the UNT seal and wordmarks should never be screened or have any item superimposed on them.

Combinations of marks

The university has combined the Mean Green Eagle, the Mean Green Eagle Head and the Talon with North Texas, Mean Green and UNT. These marks come in many different color combinations to make it easier to match your needs.
