MARKS REQUIRED ON ALL WEB PAGES
Wordmarks are required on all UNT web pages.
An official UNT wordmark is required on every page of an official UNT, UNT Dallas Campus and UNT System web site.
Examples of wordmarks
UNT Wordmark:

UNT Dallas Campus Wordmark:

The wordmark or a combination of the wordmark and lettermark must be featured prominently toward the top of the web page so that the page can be clearly identified as part of the University of North Texas without the web visitor having to scroll in their browser. Web standards require that a main logo appear in the upper left or upper right corner of a web site. The main logo will be incorporated into every page of a site. It is especially important that each and every page contains the wordmark and features it prominently, since a web visitor can land on any page from a search engine query without having to enter through a department's traditional home page.
The wordmark or a combination of the wordmark and the lettermark (see below) are the only symbols that will both distinguish each web site as an official part of the greater whole and create a sense of continuity across all of UNT's individual web site design styles.
The UNT wordmark (or wordmark and lettermark combinations) must also be linked back to the UNT, UNT Dallas Campus or UNT System home page, depending on the institutional to which the secondary pages refer. A link back to the institutional home page gives a web visitor the opportunity to find additional information about the institution. It also has a positive effect on search engine rankings since Google and some other search engines use link popularity as part of their methodologies in ranking pages.
The wordmark should not be altered from its original form. Wordmarks and wordmark and lettermark combinations were created to be used "as is" and may not be altered.
MARK COLORS
The wordmark should always appear in green, white or black. The official UNT wordmarks were created using UNT's official green but if you need to create supplemental graphics or matching colors for web site designs the following color model settings will reproduce UNT green:

HSL color model for UNT green
Hue 93 Sat 224 Lume 70
RGB color model for UNT green
Red 5 Green 144 Blue 51
The wordmark is available in two formats: stacked and one-line. The stacked wordmark is preferred. However, you may use the one-line format to meet the requirements of your design.
MARKS PREFERRED ON ALL WEB PAGES IN ADDITION TO THE WORD MARK
UNT Lettermarks (can be used in addition to wordmarks)
It is preferred that a lettermark be used with the wordmark on every web site.
Combinations of wordmarks and lettermarks (preferred on all web pages)
Since the wordmark and lettermark combinations are preferred on all UNT web pages, we have created graphics that combine both marks that can easily be added to web page designs. The combinations below are available in all of the university colors and with several different stylistic treatments. They are available to be downloaded in eps, gif and png formats for use in image editors.
