Cultural Adjustment: Life in a New Country
A Language Lab Class Project

Reading, talking, and writing about adjusting to life in a new culture is an opportunity for students to practice their English, share their experiences, and understand the experience they are having in the United States, a new country and culture.

These pages are the result of a continuing project of  Lab class students, beginning in the Spring of 2000. Whether you are a foreigner living in the U.S. or thinking about coming to the U.S. or whether you are a U.S. citizen, we hope these pages will be interesting for you and help you understand something about the U.S. culture -- and other cultures around the world.
