Eubank to fill interim post in graduate school Lynn Eubank, associate professor of English, will be the interim associate dean of the Toulouse School of Graduate Studies beginning Sept. 1.
Eubank has been a member of the English faculty in the division of linguistics since 1989. He was chair of the department's graduate studies program from 1994 to 1999 and was the faculty adviser for the Association of Graduate Students in English. He is a former elected member of the graduate council for the Toulouse School of Graduate Studies and a former elected member of the College of Arts and Sciences Graduate Curriculum Committee. An expert in linguistic theory, acquisition theory and first and second language acquisition, Eubank has published 25 articles in professional journals and 19 reports, reviews, commentaries and editorials. He is on the editorial boards for Studies in Second Language Acquisition and Syntax: Journal of Theoretical, Experimental and Interdisciplinary Research and an associate editor of Brain and Behavioral Sciences. Eubank received his bachelor's degree in German, master's degree in German literature and doctoral degree in Germanic linguistics from the University of Texas at Austin.
