2004 budget
UNT successfully concluded a nine-month, nationwide search recently by selecting Howard C. Johnson of Syracuse University as its new provost and vice president for academic affairs. Johnson, who currently is executive vice provost for academic affairs at Syracuse, has served that university in a number of teaching, scholarly and administrative roles for 30 years.
Davison will serve as the university's chief fund raiser on an interim basis while UNT conducts a national search for a new vice president for development. He replaces David Shrader, who has led the operations of the Office of Development since Spring 2001. Shrader retired from full-time duties at the university July 31. TAMS gets $87,000 grant from TI Foundation The Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science has received $87,100 from Texas Instruments' TI Foundation to support the program during the 2003-04 academic year. Four major changes are affecting the prescription drug plan some are different from changes previously reported.
