Summer graduation is Aug. 10

Lew Taylor, professor of management and director of the Murphy Enterprise Center, will be the featured speaker during the general convocation portion of the UNT commencement ceremonies Aug. 10. Taylor was nominated and selected to speak by members of the Faculty Senate.

The general convocation begins at 12:30 p.m. in the Coliseum and includes hooding of doctoral degree candidates. Commencement for the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Education and School of Merchandising and Hospitality Management starts at 2:30 p.m. in the Coliseum. The School of Library and Information Sciences, College of Music, School of Visual Arts, College of Business Administration and School of Community Service commencement ceremonies begin at 4:30 p.m. in the Coliseum.

A reception for all graduates and their guests will be held from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Gateway Center.
