UNIVERSITY OF NORTH TEXAS: A VISION FOR 2015

PERTINENT FACTS

The University Planning Council approved a vision statement for the University on February 9, 2000. This vision, along with the mission statement, will help guide the institution in developing a strategic plan with actions and measurable outcomes. This plan will contain the specifics needed to create budgets and processes that will enable the university to accomplish its vision.

The vision statement defines a picture of where the institution wants to be in the future. The statement captures the ultimate confidence of the university community in its desire for excellence and achievement.

RECOMMENDATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS

It is recommended that the Board of Regents approve the University of North Texas: A Vision for 2015
