INTERLOCAL CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF DALLAS AND THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH TEXAS SYSTEM CENTER AT DALLAS
PERTINENT FACTS
In September 2000, the City of Dallas passed a resolution to enter into an agreement that would give the UNT System Center at Dallas $483,195 over seven years to assist in the delivery of job-related education and outreach programs. This money can be used to support personnel and operations in the System Center’s recruitment, financial aid, student development, and outreach areas. To enter into this agreement, the City of Dallas requires that the Board of Regents approve the execution of a contract for these funds. The City and university have reached agreement on performance criteria that will be used to annually receive the money.
RECOMMENDATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS
The President, with the concurrence of the Chancellor, recommends that the Board of Regents authorize the President to enter into an inter-local contract (as described above) between the City of Dallas and the University of North Texas System Center at Dallas.
