UNIVERSITY GATEWAY CENTER BUDGET
PERTINENT FACTS
The Board of Regents, at its regular meeting on November 16, 2000, approved construction of the University Gateway Center at a cost not to exceed $17,750,000. Construction of the building should be completed by the end of this year. Based on the furnishings bids received the week of August 6, the addition of the bridge to the Coliseum and final reconciliation of all design and construction changes and additions to the scope of work, the project cost will exceed the current budget by $175,000.
RECOMMENDATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS
It is recommended that the Board of Regents approve an increase in the project budget to a total cost not to exceed $17,925,000.
