Nearly 2,000 students to graduate Dec. 13

About 2,000 students are scheduled to graduate during the fall commencement ceremonies Dec. 13.

Kathleen Mason, president and chief executive officer of Tuesday Morning Corp., will be the featured speaker at the general convocation at 12:30 p.m. in the UNT Coliseum.

After the general convocation, individual school and college ceremonies will be held in the Coliseum. At 2:30 p.m., ceremonies for the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Education, College of Engineering and School of Merchandising and Hospitality Management will begin. Commencement for the College of Business Administration, School of Community Service, School of Library and Information Sciences, College of Music and School of Visual Arts will follow at 4:30 p.m.

The 12:30 commencement ceremony will be televised by NTTV. It will also be made available online at www.unt.edu/commencement.

A reception for the graduates and their families, hosted by President Norval Pohl and his wife, Barbikay, will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Gateway Ballroom.
