Holiday contribution drives in full swingTeddy bear

The season of giving is here, and it is not too late to make your contributions to local food and toy drives.

Two such drives are now under way on the UNT campus though you need to act quickly. Deadlines for the human resources department's Silent Santa program and food drive and for the University Program Council's Adopt an Angel program are approaching fast.

Nonperishable food or cash donations benefiting the Denton Community Food Center and donations of unwrapped toys for the Silent Santa program need to be brought to Marquis Hall, Room 150, no later than noon Dec. 11.

Gifts purchased for children enrolled in the Adopt an Angel program should be brought to the University Program Council office in the Union, Room 216, by Dec. 14. Angels are still available for adoption on the council's angel tree in the Union courtyard.
