Complete the Dream program gains $50,000

The Citigroup Foundation recently donated $50,000 to the UNT Dallas Campus Complete the Dream scholarship program. The program encourages community college graduates in the Dallas County Community College District's Rising Star program to continue pursuit of a bachelor's degree.

The Rising Star program provides up to $4,000 for tuition and books throughout the educational career of any participant earning a two-year degree from a DCCCD institution.

With Citigroup's donation, the Complete the Dream scholarship can provide participating students up to $2,000 per semester if they continue to pursue a bachelor's degree at the UNT Dallas Campus.

Applicants must have successfully finished two years in a community college in the Rising Star program.

The Citigroup Foundation is a philanthropic organization funded through Citigroup businesses.
