Do you know that a former North Texas student is nominated for an Academy Award? Thomas Haden Church, who attended the university during the early 1980s, is a Best Supporting Actor nominee for his role in Sideways. He was also nominated for a Golden Globe and won film critic awards. The Academy Awards air Sunday, Feb. 27.
