UNT Spring 2005 enrollment up slightly over Spring 2004 numbers

As of Jan. 31 — the 12th class day for Spring 2005 — unofficial enrollment at UNT is up 1 percent over last year. An additional 314 students are enrolled this spring, increasing the total to 29,627 from last spring's official enrollment of 29,313.

Undergraduate enrollment jumped by approximately 2 percent to 22,789 students this spring from 22,323 students last spring.

However, graduate enrollment is down from Spring 2004 by 152 students or 2 percent. There are 6,838 graduate students enrolled this spring, compared to 6,990 last spring.

UNT's 2005 spring student numbers include an on-site enrollment of 1,258 students at the UNT Dallas Campus. Enrollment at the Dallas Campus this spring is up 6.8 percent over the Spring 2004 total of 1,178.

All 2005 enrollment statistics are unofficial, 12th class day numbers. Enrollment numbers do not become official until they are reported to and certified by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
