LIBRARY FEE

PERTINENT FACTS

The Library is requesting a $.65 increase in the Library fee in order to provide funding necessary to, among other things, keep up with rising costs of journal subscriptions, enhance computing technologies used by students, add student help to reshelve books more rapidly, and increase holdings as the University moves towards membership in the Association of Research Libraries. The fee would increase from $3.35 to $4.00 per semester credit hour.

RECOMMENDATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS

The President, with the concurrence of the Chancellor, recommends that the Board of Regents increase to the Library fee beginning with the fall, 2001 semester.
