BOARD DESIGNATED TUITION
PERTINENT FACTS
The Board of Regents is authorized under Sec. 54.0512 and Sec. 54.0513 of the Education Code to set FY 2000 Board Designated Tuition (excluding graduate tuition) by an amount not to exceed State Mandated Tuition, which at this time is $40 per semester credit hour. In order to meet anticipated budgetary needs for FY 2002, the University Administration is recommending the Board approve a $4.00 per semester credit hour increase in Board Designated Tuition. It is further recommended that the Board authorize the Executive Committee of the Board to lower the amount of the increase should state appropriations be sufficient to preclude the need for an increase of this size.
