RENAMING OF BUILDING
PERTINENT FACTS
At their meeting on November 17, 2000, the Board of Regents approved the renaming of the former Speech and Drama building as the Media and Performing Arts building. After further review, it is more appropriate that the newly renovated building be renamed as the Radio, TV, Film and Performing Arts building. This name is better descriptive of the activities which take place in the newly renovated building.
RECOMMENDATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS
The President recommends, with the concurrence of the Chancellor, that the Board of Regents approve the renaming of the former Speech and Drama building as the Radio, TV, Film and Performing Arts building.
