STUDENT SERVICE FEE
PERTINENT FACTS
The Student Service Fee funds activities that are separate and apart from regular academic functions but directly benefit students such as intramural and intercollegiate athletics, recreational activities, cultural events, student government, student publications, debating activities, etc. The Student Service Fee Committee has recommended the fee be increased from $9.50 per semester credit hour to $10.00 per semester credit hour in order to cover the cost of wage and salary raises, and operating cost increases. The University Administration concurs with the recommendation of the Student Service Fee Committee.
RECOMMENDATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS
The President, with the concurrence of the Chancellor, recommends that the Board of Regents approve the increase in the Student Service Fee for the fall, 2001 semester.
