Through
the Ronald E. McNair Research Program at UNT, undergraduate students are
obtaining university degrees while they contribute their research to numerous
subjects. The McNair program is part of TRIO, a group of federal programs directly responsible for making educational opportunities available to underrepresented groups nationally. Presentation topics include the physical and life sciences, social sciences, arts and humanities, education, and business. U.S. Department of Education TRIO Director Robert Belle is providing the keynote address, while President Norval Pohl is offering closing comments.
