Leadership Texas chooses three from UNT

Three UNT professors will join the ranks of more than 11,000 participants this year in the Leadership Texas Program, designed to encourage women who take active leadership roles in their lives and communities.

Celia Williamson, associate professor of rehabilitation, social work and addictions and special assistant to the provost; Debbie Rohwer, assistant professor of music; and Pam Harrell, assistant professor of teacher education and administration, were recently accepted into the program.

Leadership Texas features several three-day workshops offered in different Texas cities throughout the year. The workshops introduce participants to creative problem solving, familiarize them with state policies and provide leadership tools for participants to use in their professional lives.
