Registration is going on now for the
2002 Equity and Diversity Conference 
Registration is now under way for UNT's fifth annual Equity and Diversity Conference, Feb. 21-22 in the University Union. The theme for the 2002 conference is "Building Bridges by Enhancing Diversity and Cultural Competency in Education, the Workplace and the Community."
This year's conference is broken into two days of activities. A pre-conference workshop, "Building Community Through Welcoming Diversity," will be held Feb. 21, with the main conference event Feb. 22. Faculty and staff may attend the pre-conference workshop for $20, which includes refreshments and a boxed lunch. The faculty and staff fee for the main conference is $50. That fee includes continental breakfast, refreshments, lunch and program materials.
The registration deadline is Feb. 15. Registration forms are available online at www.unt.edu/edo/E&DConf.htm.
