UNT plans several events to celebrate Black History Month in February
UNT will celebrate Black History Month in February with a series of events and educational activities designed to highlight the accomplishments and achievements of African Americans. The events are organized by the UNT Multicultural Center.
"The goals of the Multicultural Center program for Black History Month are to emphasize the importance of the African American culture and its contributions to society while educating the public in the traditions and history of African Americans," says Andrea Robledo, assistant director of the center.
