Faculty Senate elects officers, plans meeting

The Faculty Senate elected the following officers at its May 10 regular meeting: chair, Dennis Fisher, professor of music; vice chair, Suzanne Byron, librarian; and secretary, Karen Weiller, associate professor of kinesiology, health promotion and recreation. The new terms begin July 1.

The next regular meeting – the last one of the academic year – will be held at 2 p.m. June 14 in Wooten Hall, Room 322. Meetings are open to all members of the university community.
