The Staff Council was established in the fall of 1999 to serve four purposes: to inform the university administration about issues relevant to staff members, to continue to improve the delivery of services to the university's constituencies, to foster communication within the campus community and to advance the university's mission. The June 12 Staff Council meeting has been moved from Marquis Hall to the University Union, Room 409.
