Staff awards presented at President's Staff Sack Lunch

Several staff members were recognized at the President's Staff Sack Lunch May 15.

Outstanding staff awards were presented to Jim Curry, Microcomputer Maintenance; Glen Haubold, Preventive Maintenance; and Pam Johnson, Student Accounting and University Cashiering Services.

Outstanding department awards went to the Student Health and Wellness Center and Automotive Services.

Rita Gomez, Printing Services, and the members of the applied technology, training and development program were honored with Eagle Partner Awards for their efforts to attract and retain students.

Soaring Eagles, nominated by their peers for outstanding customer service, were also recognized.

President Norval Pohl and other administrators addressed questions submitted by staff members on various topics, including faculty and staff salary increases, the replacement process for individuals in administrative positions, commencement-related issues, athletics department ticket packages, a new student health and wellness center, watering issues and the condition of the restroom facilities at Fouts Field.
