UNT presses forward with plans to create Honors College
UNT officials are already making plans to change the University Honors Program into a full-fledged Honors College as they await final approval from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. The approval may come as early as this spring.

UNT to celebrate University, Alumni Appreciation, Honors days in April
April begins with the UNT tradition of University Day. The celebration commences at 11:30 a.m. on April 1 in the Library Mall with the firing of Boomer, UNT's victory cannon, and the ringing of the Spirit Bell.

Volunteers needed for third annual UNT Beautification Day on April 2
Spring is almost here and UNT is cleaning up for the new season. The university's campus beautification committee is sponsoring its third annual UNT Beautification Day in conjunction with Keep America Beautiful and Keep Denton Beautiful's Great American Cleanup campaigns. The campaigns focus on litter prevention, waste reduction and community beautification and improvement.

Spring brings Texas severe weather season
