The First Great UNT Cleanup

The First Great UNT Cleanup and Beautification Day is April 5, when volunteers will spruce up the campus. Projects scheduled that Saturday include turning a blank retaining wall on Eagle Avenue ("before" photo, right) into an artistic showcase, planting trees, cleaning flowerbeds and picking up litter. Faculty and staff may volunteer by contacting Bob Killam, administrative services officer in biological sciences, at (940) 565-3600 or killam@cas.unt.edu. Killam and Andy Schoolmaster, associate dean in the College of Arts and Sciences and professor of geography, are event co-chairs. Check the April 18 InHouse for an "after" photo of the retaining wall project.
