UNT schedules events for International Week

Performances of dance and music, a lecture by an African journalist and foreign cuisine will highlight activities at UNT for International Week April 2-6.

International Week coordinator Olga Grieco says International Week is an opportunity for students from countries other than the United States to demonstrate and share some of the individual flavors and customs of their homelands.

"It also presents a myriad of activities to promote cultural, social and educational interaction between students at UNT and the Denton community," she says.

This year’s theme is "Celebration of World Cultures."

A complete listing of International Week activities and events is available at the UNT event calendar web site at www.unt.edu/events. For more information, call the International Student Welcome Center, 369-8725.
