Fashion design students to show creations

More than 100 original garments created by 14 senior fashion design students will be presented at Artwear 2000 - the School of Visual Arts' annual fashion show.

The show begins at 8 p.m. May 12 in the Lyric Theatre of the Murchison Performing Arts Center.

Tickets cost $25 and are available at the door or in advance at the University Union Information Desk on the third floor.

"The students have created an amazing group of innovative designs this year; the audience should really enjoy the sights," says Janie Stidham of the fashion design faculty.
