A university celebration

UNT celebrated Alumni Appreciation Day, Honors Day and University Day April 28.

During Alumni Appreciation Day events, UNT honored exceptional alumni, chosen by their respective departments, schools or colleges. Twenty alumni and university supporters were honored this year.

During the Honors Day ceremony, UNT honored students, faculty and staff for academic excellence, service and high-quality teaching. This year, Jesús Bautista Moroles, an internationally renowned sculptor and UNT Distinguished Alumnus, was the guest speaker.

University Day is a carnival-like celebration of UNT's history. The community enjoyed games, food and music on the Willis Library Mall.
