URCM brings home silver, bronze, pewter awards

UNT's Division of University Relations, Communications and Marketing received five awards from District IV of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education during the district's annual conference in Houston April 4.

CASE is a professional organization for those who work in alumni relations, communications, marketing and development at universities and private elementary and secondary schools. CASE District IV includes institutions in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisiana, Arkansas and Mexico.

URCM awards included:

• A bronze achievement award in news writing for "UNT Study Questions the Sizing Methods of Women's Apparel."

• A bronze achievement award in periodicals — magazines, four color, for the 2004-05 Resource.

• A special pewter award in visual design — cover design for the UNT Graduate Viewbook.

• A special pewter award in visual design — general institutional literature for All About UNT.

• A silver award of excellence in photography for "Business Fun — Web Hosting."

In addition, URCM recently won two Admissions Marketing Report Awards of Merit for the UNT Undergraduate Catalog and Schedule of Classes.
