About 2,500 expected to graduate during commencement May 14
UNT will confer degrees to approximately 2,000 undergraduates and 500 graduate students during spring graduation ceremonies May 14.
The general convocation ceremony is scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m. in the UNT Coliseum. President Norval Pohl will welcome all graduates, and an estimated 60 doctoral candidates will receive their academic hoods.
Alphonso Jackson, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development secretary, will give the commencement speech.
Individual school and college convocations are at 9:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. For a detailed schedule of commencement ceremonies, visit www.unt.edu/inhouse.
A commencement reception for all candidates and their guests is scheduled from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the Gateway Center Ballroom.
