EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT FOR PRESIDENT OF UNT
PERTINENT FACTS
On October 10, 2000 the Board of Regents appointed Dr. Norval F. Pohl as the President of UNT effective October 15, 2000. The Board delegated to the Chancellor the authority to negotiate a contract acceptable to the parties, subject to approval of the Board. In compliance with a new law, this contract has also been submitted to the Legislative Budget Board for its information and is now being submitted to the Board of Regents for approval. Attached hereto is a copy of the contract for consideration by the Board.
RECOMMENDATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS
It is proposed by the Chancellor, and recommended by the Chairman of the Board of Regents, that the Board approve the employment contract of Dr. Norval F. Pohl.
