RENAMING SPEECH AND DRAMA BUILDING

At their meeting on February 12, 1999, the Board of Regents approved the renovation of the Speech and Drama Building and approved the renaming of the building as the Media and Performance building upon completion of the renovation. After further review, it is more appropriate that the newly renovated building be renamed as the Media and Performing Arts building rather than Media and Performance. Media and Performing Arts is better descriptive of the activities which will take place in the newly renovated building.

It is recommended that the Board of Regents approve the renaming of the Speech and Drama building as the Media & Performing Arts building.
