UNT will celebrate Halloween this year with two free campus favorite events, the Bruce Hall Haunted House and Boo Bash. The Bruce Hall Haunted House will be Oct. 27-28 from 7 p.m. to midnight in Bruce Hall. Last year, more than 1,000 people visited the house, according to members of the haunted house committee, made up of current and past Bruce Hall residents.
The Boo Bash Carnival, sponsored by the University Program Council, will be Oct. 28 from 6 to 9 p.m. throughout the first floor of the University Union. The event, which provides game booths and prizes for children, is sponsored by various UNT student organizations and is designed to provide a safe and fun environment for the UNT community's children to enjoy the Halloween spirit. Children of UNT faculty, staff and students are invited to participate in the Boo Bash. A costume contest will be held during the Boo Bash with student organization members selecting winners in different age groups. A contest for the best booth will be judged by faculty and staff.
