Still time to participate in State Employee Charitable Campaign

UNT faculty and staff members still have a week to contribute to the 2004 Texas State Employee Charitable Campaign.

Remaining 2004 SECC events

• Bake sale
Oct. 28, Hurley Administration Building

• Pumpkin carving contest
University Union

• Halloween costume contest
Oct. 29, Eagle Student Services Center

This year, the university's campaign goal is $130,000 in total gifts and a 37 percent participation rate.

Employees have through the month of October to return completed contribution forms to the Business Services Office in Crumley Hall, Room 182, or to the SECC representative for their department.

SECC co-chairs Sharon Norman, assistant director of business services, and Jean Keller, dean of the College of Education, are holding Early Bird Prize Drawings at 3 p.m. each Friday. All completed donation forms received by that time each week are included in drawings for prizes.

Several SECC fund-raising activities are scheduled through the end of the month. Review the chart for times and dates of these events.Expanded from our print edition
