Princeton Review includes UNT in The Best Western Colleges guidebook

UNT was recently included in the Princeton Review's first edition of The Best Western Colleges, a regionally based guidebook for prospective college students.

The book, which is part of a five-book series, features 121 colleges and universities in 15 states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.

Because students are increasingly attending universities near their homes, Princeton Review created the guidebooks to group universities by regions. The profiles of selected universities present statistical analysis and student opinion-based narrative, but do not include ranking lists.

The regional guides present a cross-section of academically outstanding colleges, according to the Princeton Review. The 604 colleges in the five guides make up only 17 percent of the nation's 3,500 colleges.
