North Texas Exes to host tailgating in Waco

If you are planning to make the road trip to Waco next Saturday to see the Mean Green take on the Baylor Bears, plan to arrive in Waco in time to attend the North Texas Exes-sponsored UNT pregame tailgate party.

The event will be at South Waco Park, located south of Floyd Casey Stadium, which is not on the Baylor University campus. See the map for more details.

To get to the park, take Interstate 35 to the Valley Mills Drive exit and go west on Valley Mills Drive, then turn right onto Speight Avenue. The park is at 2815 Speight, behind a Walgreen's store and a public library. Mean Green fans are encouraged to leave their cars at South Waco Park and walk to Floyd Casey Stadium, which is between Dutton and Clay streets.

Food will be available for purchase beginning at 3 p.m.
